Laguna Beach estate has arrived.................

Thanks to our had working staff we manage to pack up and deliver to the store the entire contents from this Laguna Beach estate. Attached are a few photos of the interior to peak your interest. There are lots of smalls and decorative Asian items. The store is near capacity so now is a great time to stop in. It won’t last long. We are open seven days a week so come over the weekend and shop a while.

 

This estate also had some fine jewelry including a stunning 1.66 carat diamond ring with surrounding stones. Total carat weight is over 2 carats. Replacement value appraisal is over $18K. Our price is just $6,800.

More Hollywood History Wednesday....and HUGE estate this Thrusday and Friday

Thank you to everyone who came today to look, shop, and buy. If you missed it you still have a chance. There are still a few more boxes to be un-packed with smalls from the same Beverly Hills estate. Jonathan tucked 3 boxes behind the box area and covered them. I completely missed them today. Good news is they will be unpacked tomorrow. As many of you saw today, there are many photos from this estate. Some of the items from this estate will be put out on the floor once I have a chance to go through the photos and match them up with specific items. So keep an eye out each time you come in.

 

We also signed a deal today for the contents of a multi-million dollar Laguna Beach home. The trucks should be arriving around 2:00pm Thursday the 24^th of September and again on Friday.

 

Highlights include a fantastic and massive Venetian chandelier, two huge Asian 8- panel screens each standing over 8 feet tall, antiques, oil paintings, fine quality prints, a carved Spanish linen cabinet, an 8-9 foot marble top dining table, a 19^th Century slant front desk, a rich Baker coffee table, art glass, china, porcelain, antique Asian pottery, over a dozen vintage rugs, textiles, and more. Stopping by this week or week-end is a must.

 

Hollywood History Beverly Hills estate arriving Tuesday the 22nd @ Estate Sale Warehouse

We spent all day loading two trucks and trailers at Beverly Hills estate that was truly a time capsule. The home was located directly across from the Beverly Hills Hotel. The two photos included with this email show the entrance to the house from the motor court and the view of the Beverly Hills Hotel from the front yard.

 

The estate was owned by an Academy award winning Hollywood director whose career spanned 5 decades. He was once married to a Hollywood starlet who died way too young. Their only offspring went on to make a huge name for herself in her own right. Have you guess it yet? Come in tomorrow for the answer.

 

Highlights include some French antiques, Hollywood Regency period furnishings, a pair of huge French two-panel screens, a massive custom hand carved dining table, a unique old Asian style work multiple work station desk, a huge Faux snakeskin covered screen that matched the entry room wall paper, a couple of circa 1900 wicker pieces in need of repair, lots of old books and many art books, vintage clothing, high end newer clothing like Adolfo and others.

 

This is also lots of unique paper items. The paper will take some time to go through so keep checking in over the next couple of weeks for paper items.

Estates arriving everyday this week..........

If you have not been this week by sure to stop in soon!  We have had estates come in Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We have one scheduled for Thursday and Friday too.

Highlights so far included and complete 1940’s Chippendale mahogany dining room suite, fine quality furniture, some retro 50’s and 60’s stuff, a 19^th Century French “Wag on the Wall” clock, and lost more.

I hope to be un-packing boxes by 2:00pm Thursday and from noon till 4:00pm on Friday. Boxes are also subject to change as you all know.

 

Next week we have two estates already scheduled for early in the week. Monday or Tuesday and Wednesday. Come on by!!

Things are happening at Estate Sale Warehouse......

New estate just arrived today and it is now out on the floor. Lots of antique and vintage blue and white china, some Wedgwood Jasperware plaques, nice quality used furniture, an antique French custom headboard and two French marble top night stands.

 

Other highlights of the week include an early 1960’s Barbie collection and some nice artwork. We also just brought in some near new stainless steel appliances including a Side be Side refrigerator with ice and water in the door, range and stove top, a built-in stainless microware, and a dishwasher. All like new!!

 

When you visit us next be sure to check out our select clothing room in building #3 (that is the “cool” one with the air conditioning). We have now and are going to continue bringing high quality consignment grade clothing and unusual vintage clothing. Both men’s and women’s. Right now we have over 20 leather coats of all styles, furs, silks, tops from Chico’s, Hickey Freeman suits, Ralph Lauren, and cashmere sweaters.

 

Next week we have 3 estates already scheduled for pick-up and delivery to the store on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
