3 estates arriving this week @ Estate Sale Warehouse

We have three estate pick-ups on the books for the week. First one comes in tomorrow, Monday, and it a complete houseful from Ocean Hills. We have another nice one from Newport Beach on Tuesday and yet another on Wednesday. All three of these are Rick’s deals and I have not seen them. I understand all of them are worthy of mention. I will post more information once I see them in person.

New estate from Rancho Santa Fe arriving Monday & Tuesday @ Estate Sale Warehouse...............

Monday the 30^th of November and Tuesday December 1^st we will be bringing in a larger fresh estate from Rancho Santa Fe.

 

This was a vacation home for a couple and furniture has seen very little use. Highlights include a plasma TV, Ligne Roset sofa and chairs, a Ligne  Roset Dining room table and 8 chairs, some quality area rugs, a leather sofa and loveseat and ottoman, a rustic dining room set with 8 chairs, some very nice Ethan Allen and Drexel upholstered chairs, a king, queen, single bed sets, a Bose CD player, large wine refrigerators, some great iron patio sets, and nice selection of quality smaller items.  

 

This week should prove to be a great time to shop at Estate Sale Warehouse. See you soon!!

Unique items coming in @ Estate Sale Warehouse..............

Next week is Thanksgiving week but we still have a busy schedule with a nice estate coming in on Monday. Boxes might be unpacked on Monday after 2:00pm and for sure on Tuesday near noon.

Highlights include a fantastic vintage pre-ban 3/4 length Leopard Skin coat with Mink collar and cuffs, a 4 carat diamond ring with the center stone being over 3 carats and radiant cut (by appointment only). The replacement appraised value in 1994 was $27,622. Estate Sale Warehouse price is just $12,000 plus tax. Also coming soon is a 1968 Mercedes 280SL Roadster with both hard and soft tops. It is a super straight original California car with original mileage.

Furniture highlights include a huge antique leaded-glass architectural element that has been converted to a head board, a high quality Spanish Revival Style dining room set, a couple Mid-Century iron wall scupltures, and of course more.............

Check out the store this weekend too. We had a nice load of Ethan Allen furniture, artwork, smalls and some antique pieces arrive yesterday, Friday.

New estate coming in today @ Estate Sale Warehouse

We a have a larger size estate coming today from Solana Beach. We hope to arrive and by unloading at the store today by 2pm today with some boxes opened up today. Very nice smalls, antique furniture, fine quality custom furniture, iron patio furniture, artwork, a 19^th century pine cabinet, antique bridal chests, and top quality kitchen items.

 

Tomorrow I should be un-packing boxes nearly all day starting at about 11:00am.

Christmas @ Estate Sale Warehouse

The long awaited Christmas Event starts tomorrow at Estate Sale Warehouse. A team of elves will be setting up after hours today and tomorrow our south building will be a Winter Wonderland with all of the Christmas items, decorations, china, linens, and lighting we have collected all year long from estates. We have shelves and shelves of unique Christmas items including Dept. 56, modern and vintage decorations and even an artificial 12 foot light tree. Once it is gone it is gone so shop early.

 

We also have another estate arriving tomorrow after noon. Nice smalls and high quality furniture. The furniture highlights include a super patio set made by Mallin that includes a table and 6 chairs, two chaise lounges and side table, a Weber BBQ, a Tempurpedic foam King Size mattress, a complete custom home office set with large bookcases, leather recliners, French Provincial bedroom set, armories, and more.

Double the Antiques @ Estate Sale Warehouse

A last minute arrival today from a fine Point Loma estate. The estate was an old money prominent San Diego family. There are many nice Victorian era marble antique pieces, tall sect bookcase, sterling silver, fine china art work, old photos, and more.

This is in separate from the estate we are bringing in tomorrow which is also full of antique pieces.

Just arrived and more coming @ Estate Sale Warehouse

The Fairbanks Ranch estate is at the store and on the floor. Now that I have seen it I can provide you with more details. Attached are a couple of photos. All of the furniture is high end as to be expected. The dining room set is Asian Style and includes a table and 8 with matching china cabinet. Most of the other furnishings are French style. There is a high end down filled off-white sofa, armoire in light wood, solid cherry tea cart and side server., and lots of other great pieces.

 

The gentleman was a clothes hound. There is over 50 feet of men’s clothing. The selection includes the finest quality suits, sports coats, and ties from Brooks Brothers along with many custom Italian suits. High end men’s and women’s shoes from Ferragamo, Bally, and others. The gentleman’s hat collection is the best I have ever seen, most from Brooks Brothers. The suits I have seen appear to be 40 reg. though there may be other sizes. There is also a nice selection of ladies clothes.

 

I do not have the clothing out yet but if you have read this Blog and would like a first look just ask we will be glad to let you shop before they make it to the floor.

 

Last thing, more coming in tomorrow with lots of antiques around noon on Thursday. It is our goal to have the Christmas items out next week. Stay tuned and come on in.

Fairbanks Ranch Estates coming in @ Estate Sale Warehouse

Monday afternoon we will be bringing in a very nice Fairbanks Ranch estate. The style of most of the furnishing is French and top quality. It should be a good one.

New estates all week @ Estate Sale Warehouse

We have new estates arriving all week and we are nearly full capacity with more coming in tomorrow. Today a nice La Costa estate came in with highlights that include a very fine antique French marble topped buffet with china display that is loaded with detailed marquetry and ormolu, a large down-filled sectional sofa, a six piece 1940's bedroom suite, and a antique rosewood sideboard with hand painted tiles that is truly unique and of the highest quality.

Another treasure that just arrived is a ladies Piaget 18k Gold and Diamond wristwatch. From their Limelight collection, the current new retail is $23,000. Just serviced, it comes with it's original box and papers. Attached is a photo. Estate Sale Warehouse price just $9,000.

Just arrived, fine art collection @ Estate Sale Warehouse

Tuesday October 5^th before noon we will be unpacking, pricing and hanging a great collection of fine vintage oil paintings, many by listed artists. Some of the highlights of the collection include two large oil on canvas paintings by New York artist Charles Levier, an oil by Jean Calogero (Italian artist), four paintings by Frank Whipple, several paintings by Robert Owens (known for his clown paintings), an original acrylic painting by Peter Max, and several other quality artworks.  All are value priced to sell.

 

The collection of paintings are all out the same Newport Beach estate that we brought in this past March. The trustee finally agreed to sell the artwork.

 

Also from this same estate is an outstanding 8-panel hand painted Meigi Period Japanese Byobu Screen. Attached is a photo.

 

We will also be un-packing smalls most of the day and a small estate is also arriving.

Laguna Beach estate has arrived.................

Thanks to our had working staff we manage to pack up and deliver to the store the entire contents from this Laguna Beach estate. Attached are a few photos of the interior to peak your interest. There are lots of smalls and decorative Asian items. The store is near capacity so now is a great time to stop in. It won’t last long. We are open seven days a week so come over the weekend and shop a while.

 

This estate also had some fine jewelry including a stunning 1.66 carat diamond ring with surrounding stones. Total carat weight is over 2 carats. Replacement value appraisal is over $18K. Our price is just $6,800.

More Hollywood History Wednesday....and HUGE estate this Thrusday and Friday

Thank you to everyone who came today to look, shop, and buy. If you missed it you still have a chance. There are still a few more boxes to be un-packed with smalls from the same Beverly Hills estate. Jonathan tucked 3 boxes behind the box area and covered them. I completely missed them today. Good news is they will be unpacked tomorrow. As many of you saw today, there are many photos from this estate. Some of the items from this estate will be put out on the floor once I have a chance to go through the photos and match them up with specific items. So keep an eye out each time you come in.

 

We also signed a deal today for the contents of a multi-million dollar Laguna Beach home. The trucks should be arriving around 2:00pm Thursday the 24^th of September and again on Friday.

 

Highlights include a fantastic and massive Venetian chandelier, two huge Asian 8- panel screens each standing over 8 feet tall, antiques, oil paintings, fine quality prints, a carved Spanish linen cabinet, an 8-9 foot marble top dining table, a 19^th Century slant front desk, a rich Baker coffee table, art glass, china, porcelain, antique Asian pottery, over a dozen vintage rugs, textiles, and more. Stopping by this week or week-end is a must.

 

Hollywood History Beverly Hills estate arriving Tuesday the 22nd @ Estate Sale Warehouse

We spent all day loading two trucks and trailers at Beverly Hills estate that was truly a time capsule. The home was located directly across from the Beverly Hills Hotel. The two photos included with this email show the entrance to the house from the motor court and the view of the Beverly Hills Hotel from the front yard.

 

The estate was owned by an Academy award winning Hollywood director whose career spanned 5 decades. He was once married to a Hollywood starlet who died way too young. Their only offspring went on to make a huge name for herself in her own right. Have you guess it yet? Come in tomorrow for the answer.

 

Highlights include some French antiques, Hollywood Regency period furnishings, a pair of huge French two-panel screens, a massive custom hand carved dining table, a unique old Asian style work multiple work station desk, a huge Faux snakeskin covered screen that matched the entry room wall paper, a couple of circa 1900 wicker pieces in need of repair, lots of old books and many art books, vintage clothing, high end newer clothing like Adolfo and others.

 

This is also lots of unique paper items. The paper will take some time to go through so keep checking in over the next couple of weeks for paper items.

Estates arriving everyday this week..........

If you have not been this week by sure to stop in soon!  We have had estates come in Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We have one scheduled for Thursday and Friday too.

Highlights so far included and complete 1940’s Chippendale mahogany dining room suite, fine quality furniture, some retro 50’s and 60’s stuff, a 19^th Century French “Wag on the Wall” clock, and lost more.

I hope to be un-packing boxes by 2:00pm Thursday and from noon till 4:00pm on Friday. Boxes are also subject to change as you all know.

Things are happening at Estate Sale Warehouse......

New estate just arrived today and it is now out on the floor. Lots of antique and vintage blue and white china, some Wedgwood Jasperware plaques, nice quality used furniture, an antique French custom headboard and two French marble top night stands.

 

Other highlights of the week include an early 1960’s Barbie collection and some nice artwork. We also just brought in some near new stainless steel appliances including a Side be Side refrigerator with ice and water in the door, range and stove top, a built-in stainless microware, and a dishwasher. All like new!!

 

When you visit us next be sure to check out our select clothing room in building #3 (that is the “cool” one with the air conditioning). We have now and are going to continue bringing high quality consignment grade clothing and unusual vintage clothing. Both men’s and women’s. Right now we have over 20 leather coats of all styles, furs, silks, tops from Chico’s, Hickey Freeman suits, Ralph Lauren, and cashmere sweaters.

 

Next week we have 3 estates already scheduled for pick-up and delivery to the store on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

What's up @ Estate Sale Warehouse...........

This past week we brought in 3 separate estates. One from a retired doctor, another from an attorney, and another from a new age therapist. All are unique in different ways and each were loaded with quality items. If you have not been in this week, make it a point to make it.

 

We hope to be unpacking boxes from these estates Monday afternoon 12 noon (always subject to change).

 

Next week we have a very nice estate schedule for Tuesday and Wednesday from another retired attorney and collector.

New Estates & A 2001 Toyota Prius @ Estate Sale Warehouse

We have been bringing in estates all week this week, so if you have not been by this week make it a point to come in tomorrow or over the weekend.

 

All three buildings are full of treasures. Highlights include a huge collection 1950's Pyrex, some old Bauer & Pacific pottery, a service for eight china set by Wedgwood in the Kutani Crane pattern, a Country French table a four, several pieces of Ethan Allen furniture, furniture from Lawerence,  several 19th Century antique pieces, and many newer pieces of decorator furniture.

 

Also just arrived and up for sale at opening tomorrow, is a 2001 Toyota Prius. Excellent condition and runs and drives like new. Light blue with A/C. Get up to 50 mpg!!! It also has the carpool sticker that allows a single driver to use the carpool lanes. The last car we had lasted only a few hours so don't be late and be sure to check this one out.

 

Next week we are booked with new estate arrivals every day, so come buy and shop often.

Nice estate just arrived and still arriving at Estate Sale Warehouse................

Another better estate started arriving today Tuesday. Highlights include sterling silver hollowware, a heavy 107 piece Gorham flatware set in the Sovereign pattern, Hummels, Lladro, Oriental items old and new, unique quality furniture and antiques, including a first half 19^th Century or earlier French arm chair with fine needle point, fine German and Danish china and much more.  Also a vintage modern Rosewood Grandfather clock and bar from Denmark.  We will be unpacking this one for many days. If you wee our box section, it is full and this is only half of it. All three buildings are nearly full.

 

We also have a 1996 Lexus coming in later this week. It is at the detailer now and like all of the cars we offer it is clean and promises to be a great value to the lucky buyer.

 

We already a few estates scheduled over the coming two week so stop by often.

More & more Estate Stuff keeps coming in..................

With pick-ups every day this week our store is nearing full. We now have opened our adjacent building to the south (the one with the small for lease sign).

It will be open tomorrow Friday and half day on Saturday. We are looking for part time help during the summer. If you know a student or someone looking for a summer job please let me us know.  

 

Some of the highlights this week include a huge collection of antique country items and primitive kitchen collectibles, a vintage Danish made Ekornes leather chair and ottoman, a near new Kirby Sentria vacuum (one used twice), a Bose Wave Radio with Multi CD Changer, many Ethan Allen furniture pieces, a beautiful iron canopy bed, Kreiss furniture, and loads of everyday quality stuff.

Just arrived today, the contents of a 4000 square foot Scripps Ranch home. Fine and gently used furniture including a large Ethan Allen farm table with 4 chairs and matching bench, an Ethan Allen painted hutch, many other quality solid hardwood pieces, a queen size designer iron canopy bed, Stiffel lamps, a Trend grandfather clock, a large Karastan rug, high quality office furniture, a Precor “Delmar” model home gym in like new condition, and other great items.

 

Wednesday we have a large collection of antique, primitive, and country items and smalls coming in.

 

Thursday another estate is schedule to arrive.

 

Next week we have two already scheduled.

New Estate Just Arrived @ Estate Sale Warehouse..........

If you have not been in this week, be sure to make your way down. We just finished up moving in a large estate that took three days to pack and move. The boxes will take over a week to open and price. Many have already been done. Highlights include Hummels, Kinkade, garden items galore, and things people need.

A fine estate of antiques just arrived today............

Don't miss this load. Three truck and traliers full just arrvied today.
The estate includes lots of American and European antique furniture pieces. Great large scale cabinets, armoires, a large old curio cabinet, a hand carved dining suite that includes a table and 12 chairs, a large buffet, a huge china cabinet, and matching side table. A great period Eastlake slat front desk, and more unique pieces. The owner had money, traveled the world, and bought what she wanted. She had great taste.

Also in the estate are lots of vintage decorator items from Hawaii, an original Hula girl lamp, old quilts, vintage china, and loads of everyday things people need. Everything is quality.

This week has been steady with a few new arrivals everyday. Today, Friday, capped off the week with the arrival of the finest American made furniture, Karges by Hand. Hand carved walut bed, dresser, nightstand, and mirror. If you demand the finest then Karges is a must. Come by this weekend to check it out.

Also with today pickup is a full size Memory Foam mattress and some decorator items.

New Estate Coming in DANISH MODERN & MORE.................

We should be arriving in the store tomorrow by 2:30 at the latest. Nice estate with some high quality Danish Teak furniture including a large table and 6, tambour door buffet,

a great vintage 60’s-70’s moderne velvet sofa, a late 1960’s Murano Glass chandelier, a earlier DCM Charles Eames chair, and a nice selection of smalls.

The previous owner was an artist and had good taste. Don’t miss out!!!!!!

Nice La Jolla estate coming in Tuesday April 7th.................

We should be unpacking sometime between 1:30pm and 2:30pm this comingTuesday. Upscale and up to date fine furnishing from a high end La Jolla home. Highlights in the furniture include a massive travertine and iron dining table by Kreiss Furniture Co., high end home office cherry wood office furniture, top quality lighting, solid wood Country French style furniture, mirrors, and decorator items.

 

We will be unpacking the better bidder boxes too. These boxes will be unpacked just as soon as we arrive and start unloading.

 

We have a few pieces of fine jewelry in the store including a pair of 2.5+ carats diamond earrings set in 18k white gold.

Highlights include some vintage Heywood Wakefield bedroom furniture and living room furniture.

Tuesday the 24^th we will be unpacking bidder boxes starting between 10:30 & 11:00am and unpacking until they are empty.

Today, Monday we brought in 2 trailers full of antique and quality used furniture.

 

 

Another estate just arrived today.............

Today we brought in another estate just in time for the weekend shoppers. Furniture includes 1940's Mahogany furniture by Drexel,
an fine 1930's Regency down filled sofa, vintage Drexel Heritage furniture, lighted small curio cabinet, and various hard wood accent pieces.

The smalls are good too and we plan on un-packing the better bidder boxes in the front room on Tuesday March 24th at about 11:00am.

Laguna Beach estate just arrived.................

With six men with were able to quickly pack up the Laguna Beach estate that many of you have heard about.

All of the vintage and antique furniture and decorator items are now in the store. Great Birds’s Eye maple pieces,

French furniture, a fantastic Art Nouveau bed, lots of unique vintage lamps, artwork, highly carved vintage and antique pieces.

The lady was a professionally ballerina who traveled the world collecting along the way.

We will be unpacking the smalls and bidder boxes live March 18, 2009 starting shortly after 10am.
