Couple other things. Thank you very much for your support this weekend for the fundraising garage sale. The team was able to raise over $1600. Also a big thank you to "Cathy with a C". Kathy won the 50-50 drawing and donated the winnings back to the team!! The money raised will help the the team and coaches to tournaments in both Las Vegas and San Jose.
We will be closed on Thanksgiving and we will be open for business on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Fundraising Parking Lot Sale This Saturday @ ESW

Hi Folks,
I wanted to invite you all to a fundraiser parking lot sale we are having this Saturday at 7 AM to 11 AM to benefit youth ice hockey here in San Diego, specifically the San Diego Union South Hawks - High School Team. This is a great group of young men who are coached by three dedicated volunteer coaches. Our goal is to help them raise money for planned tournaments in Las Vegas and San Jose. They will all be helping out with this weekends sale.
If you're interested in donating any items please bring them by the store tomorrow, Friday, or before 8 AM Saturday morning.
We are also conducting a 50-50 drawing. Tickets are one dollar. Half of the proceeds will go to the team and half will go to a lucky winner. You can buy tickets anytime at the store on Friday or up until 11 AM the day of the sale. That's this Saturday. The drawing will be held at 11 AM and you need not be present to win.
I hope you all come by this weekend and check it out. Again the sale is from 7 AM to 11 AM in our loading zone behind the store in the alley.

Carmel Valley Estate Today @ ESW

Hi folks,
Our last estate arrival for the week comes in out of Carmel Valley to Estate Sale Warehouse.
Mostly furniture, it includes an arts and crafts style desk and hutch, several faux plants, patio furniture, a Husky workbench, Spanish style dining table, a Korg piano keyboard with weighted keys, parson chairs, wicker rockers, a beautiful original still life oil painting, hey fluffy loveseat, marble top demilune consul table, glass front bookcase, BBQ and more.
Ari no boxes or smalls. We should have it all unloaded onto the floor by 1:30 PM today.
If you have not been into the store lately now would be a great time. For the past three weeks we've had estate arrivals every single day and the store is jampacked.

November 4th marks the 20 year anniversary of Estate Sale Warehouse. It has been 20 years of a thriving business, great customers, and even better employees. We could not have done it without all of them and you.
As a special thanks to you, we are offering our dedicated customers who read this blog a 20% discount store wide through Sunday. This is store wide on every item. If you know us, you'll know that's a big deal. We always price it to move it and we've only had one "sale" in 20 years. This is truly in appreciation of our customers for the past 20 great years.

Interesting Estate Sale Warehouse facts:
Todd and Rick founded Estate Sale Warehouse on November 4, 1994. Estate Sale Warehouse was founded on a hand shake agreement that has lasted 20 years. The original investment was just $600 each.
The original Estate Sale Warehouse was just 1500 ft.² it now encompasses four buildings and nearly 14,000 ft.²
It's estimated Estate Sale Warehouse has physically moved more 6 million lbs of inventory over the past 20 years. That's more than 3,100 tons!!!! Most of that thanks to Rigo.
It's estimated that Linda has actually only used 8 of her 170 allocated vacation days over the past 15 years. Don't worry it's not use or loose it.
On the other hand, Tracy has used 62 of her 48 vacations day over the past four yeas has been thinking the same I was thinking everyday she has worked.
Together, both Linda and Tracy have rung the register over 281,452 times. Super Star Salesgirls!!!!
After 20 years Rick still tags items ending in 0. It's suppose to end in 5, 9, or 8 Rick!!!
After 20 years Todd still loves the business and considers himself retired while working 60 hours a week.
I am totally thankful to Linda, Tracy, Rick, Rigo, Laura, Melanie, Trent, Carlos, Rose, and Judy for all your hard work that affords me the time to spend the rest of the week with my family.
