A Heartfelt Thank You
To Our Customers
for the Past 25 Years!

Please Read This Whole Email
25 years ago on November 5, 1994 Rick & I opened Estate Sale Warehouse.
We operated for 21 years on just a handshake agreement with no formal legal document. Our partnership was built on trust and ethics and we always operated our business with the same principles.

Over the years Estate Sale Warehouse has expanded several times from our small 2500 square-foot space up to nearly 12,000 ft.² encompassing four buildings. One thing is absolutely true, we could not have done it without you, our customers. Thank you!!!!

To commemorate our anniversary we would like to give back. We have committed to donating $2500 to an organization called Generate Hope. We humbly ask you to join us in our 25 Anniversary celebration by supporting this outstanding organization that helps rescue women from human sex trafficking and also educates young girls and boys about this terrible subject.
Below is a link. I would encourage you to click on it, get informed, and consider donating. You can also donate at our store for this drive.
GENERATE HOPE LINK
Why Generate Hope? Over the years I have been blessed with the opportunity to follow my dream of being an auctioneer by volunteering for local charities. As a charity auctioneer who never excepts a fee you can imagine how many charities come knocking on the door. Generate Hope stands out as one of the charities I have worked with that is doing the most amount of good with the most passion. Please do consider donating. Our goal is to multiply our $2500 donation by at least two, maybe much more.

I humbly thank you for your consideration, your patronage to our business, and your continued support. We are looking forward to another outstanding 25 years!

If you've read this far, please know that we are planning free hamburgers and hotdogs, drinks and sodas and door prizes for our customers next Saturday November 9th.
A Few Estate Sale Warehouse Highlights From the Past Quarter Century
Why the cow? Back in 1994 our current location was a horrible location. We could not keep a tenant in our building so we decided to open Estate Sale Warehouse. In order to draw people in we put Penelope the cow out front. Within days the City of Oceanside was threatening fines for our "attention getter" which culminated in fines totaling more than $300. We learned you can fight City Hall. After a newspaper article, an appearance on a talk radio show, and a special City Council meeting on the subject, we successfully petitioned the city and received a conditional permit for Penelope.
The photo above is circa 1998 after our 4th expansion. Linda was hired to open up the "ESW Consignment Warehouse". Shortly after that, we decided having two separate business names was not a great idea. A hole in the wall connecting both buildings was a much better idea.
That's Linda! Shout out to Linda for over 20 years of commitment to Estate Sale Warehouse!!

Hope you can come by this week and celebrate with us. I'm cooking up hamburgers and hotdogs for everyone next Saturday the 9th.
$600 each and a handshake.
While Rick retired at the end of 2015, we are still friends and business partners in other ventures. Thank you Rick for your honesty and your trust in me.
