Colette Pope Heldner (1902-1990) moved to New Orleans in 1923, and lived in the French Quarter, where her impressionistic style of painting recorded many of New Orleans lush and unique settings as well as the surrounding swamp-bayou areas. This well listed artist has over 347 records on Askart with a record high sale of $20,315 at auction in 2012. "
